Rock Fever was a Taiwanese vertical scrolling arcade rhythm game series developed by IGS, distributed by Saint-fun and Wahlap Technology. There were a total of 9 versions released from 2000 till 2006. There were a total of 9 versions released from 1999 till 2006. The game is no longer in active development and has no signs of returning, with the most recent game being Rock Fever 5 released in 2006. There's also quite few bootlegs of Rock Fever franchiese, mainly made in China. Including one bootleg using Ez2Dj/Ez2AC cab as it's cabinet. The most noteable bootleg is DJ Master, a bootleg of Rock Fever 4 replacing it's trackball with a mini turntable. A little fun fact about Rock Fever series, from Rock Fever to at least Rock Fever 3; The Rock Fever cabinet's were converted cabinet's of arcade version of Japanese fighting-rhythm game series Bust A Groove, also known as (Bust A Move). It's theroized that IGS was actually behind the Bust A Move cabinet's and they decided to reuse the cabinet for their own rhythm game.
